Q: Do you have to pay for your samples once inside the festival?
A: NO. Your ticket affords you the option to sample any beer you choose at the KC Beerfest. Sample size is 2 ounces.
Q: Do Designated Drivers have to pay?
A: Yes. At the KC Beerfest, DDs pay $10 to enter. However, as our thanks for their responsibility, DDs will have a private entrance and their own tent complete with complimentary water, sodas and free chair massages.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: KC Beerfest is not afraid of rain. If it does come down, we’ll move to the first floor of the parking garage, where we can enjoy liquid beer samples in shady dry comfort.
Q: Will you run out of beer?
A: No. We are taking extra measures to make sure that we have ample samples for you to try. However, some beers are in limited supplies and will run out early. These beers will be noted on the festival map in advance. Come early to make sure you get the samples you want.
Q: Is food included with the ticket?
A: No. Several restaurants will be at the event providing samplings of their menu. Make sure you bring cash for food during the festival. In addition, the festival ends at 5 p.m., just in time to grab some grub at one of more than 50 dining options at the Legends Outlets.
Q: Will there be a shuttle service?
A: No. There will be taxis waiting outside KC Beerfest to take you anywhere you want to go.
